yellow diamondModeling: I received this appeal from Mike Gerenday and thought it would be good to pass it along. "To any and all HO and N scale modelers of the Alaska Railroad. With Walthers releasing ARR ex-UP passenger cars in the 1972-80s paint scheme, there are no true scheme matching locomotives in what is called the DOT scheme. One model company  has produced great looking F-7s and FP-7s in ARR colors, Intermountain Railway. No model company has ever made locomotives in the DOT scheme. Intermountain has done well in selling  the Bicentennial and black/yellow FP-7s, as well as F units in the Bold Alaska scheme in the last few years. I have sent Intermountain pictures of the 1512, 1514 and B units in the DOT scheme to Richard Frazier with Intermountain. He has in turn sent the pictures the the Product & Design team. I urge all modelers to contact Richard Frazier with Intermountain Railway at richard.frazier@intermountain-railway.com, or by phone; 1-800-472-2530. The more modelers know about this and contact Intermountain, the better the chances are they will do a run of of these great locomotives in this classic paint scheme." - 9/14/13
