ARR Creations Durand's #3013

No. 3013 EMD GP 40-2 Serial # 777093-2 was aquired new from EMD in 1978. Model is as of July 1995 based on photos by Randy Thompson. The prototype has since been painted in the quarter pounder scheme.

Casey Durand started this model and did most of the work and painting. Old dad, Pat just finished it up with glazing, wipers and paint and the builders photos.

Project starts with an Athern GP40-2 .

A-Line 29200 Wipers Derlin Windshield.

Sand lines were added to each end of trucks mounted on the brakehangers

The cab windows were modified to match prototype photos from 1995.

The snow plow was fabricated from styrene layers following the pointers in the plow tips section.
