| For this project, I aquired a two car set of Procor tanks cars made by Walthers (23,000gal Funnel Flow Tank car). I used nail polish to remove the decals and then repainted them black with Scalecoat II Paint. I found out that the picture of the Williams tank car on your website showed a blemish to the left of the ladder where the MAPCO Logo used to be. This information was confirmed by Curt Fortenberry and Randy Thompson. That is how I was able to complete the one tank car. The other was up to me to decide what it would look like. After decaled I sealed them with a coat of Dullcote. |
