| This Locomotive Crane was similar to the American Crane LC-109. It
was produced using as much information from John's website under the Locomotive
Crane section. It may not be exactly prototypical, but this is what I came
up with. I bought an American Loco Crane powered undecorated Walthers #
932-5070 HO scale. I painted the cab Reefer yellow( Scalecoat II)
and the chase black. Detail painting was done by hand that included silver
for the floodlights( front and rear), red for the back taillights and black
for the horn and ladder.
Decals were a combination of Microscale ARR engine (87-480) and freight decals (87-256), plus Roman letters Microscale (90002), and UP MOW (87-254). It was then Gloss coated after decals were applied. I then strung the cables. |
