To model the UCM hoppers, you need to purchase MDC Roundhouse 3-Bay hoppers (smooth-sided version). I used a decorater model and stripped it down with brake fluid. Then a dish detergent wash and dry. I was ready to paint them using Scalecoat II B&O Royal Blue.  After painting the hopper, I was ready to decal. I  had previously aquired the decals from Ron Sheets (TVRR Club) for the project. Using a picture I printed from the TVRR web site (link via John's web site), I applied the decals.  After they were dry, I sprayed a couple of coats of Testors Clearcote to finish the project.
