| I used an Athearn F7A painted it Reefer White (Floquil), Aluminum (Scalecoat II), and then Chinese Red( Scalecoat II). Decals were Microscale Alaska RR Diesels #87-280. Also used Reefer Yellow (Scalecoat II) for detail painting of ladders. Extra parts: ARR X-large plow (Roundhouse), 5 chime horn (Details West), EMD winterization hood (modified). Also Details West Radio Ant (Detail Assoc.). The plow had to be modified to fit the F7A (used advise from Robert Krol). |
