| These are views of the HOn3 Slim Rail Module built by Pat and Casey Durand. There are currently 8 modules built by 6 Anchorage modelers to conform to the Colorado Slim Gauge standards. This scene covers the helix at one end of the layout that is always on display at the Alaska Railroad Depot for the 10 days of the Anchorage Fur Rendezvous in February. The combat fishing scene represents June 15th, opening day for the salmon fishery. The Waruwanabe (old indian name) River forms at the confluence of the famous Wild and Scenic rivers. (1/2/00) |
