Flatcar with ties

On April 14, 2020 Ben Maggi says, "I am scratch building a pair of flatcars in HO scale as part of the Master Model Railroader program run by the NMRA. I write about it on my blog, which is marginally devoted to my D&H layout. While searching the internet for a good flatcar load to model, I came across this picture from your website. I was wondering if I could post it on my blog? If so, I would link to your website and also give you credit for it."

Jonathan Fischer gave him permission to use his photo. The following is Ben's links for modeling the flatcar:

Ben adds, "The two pictures attached show how I lined up the ties (after I heavily stained them with ink/alcohol) and then dry brushed them to get the tie plate weathering. I made the load a couple of days ago, but I really needed another 100 ties or so to look great. Unfortunately, I threw out the ink stain and didn't write down the measurements so I can't replicate it. And I don't want the second batch of ties to not match."
