Comments

Since this would be Anne's last family trip before going off to college this fall, we let her pick the location and activities. She chose New York City and had quite a list of activities, but her top priority was to see a Broadway play.

We drove to Jersey City, NJ and stayed in a Ramada Inn. Each day we took the train (two blocks away) into Manhattan and either walked or rode the train or subway to our destination. Our first day there we walked between eight and ten miles.

We also did geocaching driving to New York City as well as some while we were there.

We stopped in the M&M Store and had a blast. M&Ms come two ways, plain and peanut. The nuts are shown here next to the yellow M&M. We made a stop at the Lego Store. This one took 320 hours and 12,200 bricks to build. All that remains of the World Trade Center.
