Comments
Terry's parents, Doug and Jan Reynolds, joined us for the trip.
Another of our favorite places is Kauai. It is names the Garden Island for a very good reason. There are hundreds of waterfalls and beaches. Plus, virtually no insects!
Watching the sun rise from Haleakala National Park is something everyone should do once in their life. We almost froze to death, but is was worth it!
Snorkeling in Hawaii is good, but the Florida Keys is still tops in John's book.
Watching a Christmas parade with 80 degree temperatures is a weird experience!
The beaches at Molokai and Lani are virtually people free in Novmeber. It was great having nice beaches all to yourself.
The lava was flowing at Hawaii Volcanoes NP. We watched it from a lava covered park road. The lava had covered the road a few days before. The initial temperature was 2200 degrees, but was only a mere 200 degrees now.
We loved the off road excursion in Lani. We drove a Geo Tracker through
some wild mountains and then to Shipwreck Beach where Gene Hackman had
got his stuck a few days before.
