On this trip we had Terry's parents, Doug and Jan Reynolds.
Our backpacking trip through the Grand Canyon was an incredible experience. On day 1 we went from Yaki Point to Bright Angel Campground via the south Kaibab Trail. On day 2 we took the North Kaibab Trail to Cottonwood Campground. On day 3 we took the North Kaibab Trail to the North Rim. Even though Doug and Jan are in their 50s they finished the trail like professionals. John carried his backpack on his back and nine month old Laura on the front. This made for a neat trip. However, parents should exercise caution on backpacking their children into areas of extreme conditions. One small error can result in serious injuries to the child.
We didn't win any money while we were in Las Vegas. We did stop by one
of the brothels to see what was cooking.
