John's Honda Odyssey

q and c

Just after hitting the 200,000 mile mark on February 8, 2009, our 2000 Honda Odyssey had its transmission fail. Having enjoyed this vehicle so much, what else could we do except purchase another!

The repair of the transmission was estimated at $4,600. This combined with the need to replace the timing belt at the cost of another $700 convinced us it was time to trade in. On February 16, 2009, we did just that.

Our new Odyssey's first full day was spent taking me to work and back.
