Whittier, December 2006

In the month of December, Whittier received over twelve feet of snow! On one day in particular, they received almost three feet of snow!

Robert Krol says of his blizzard photos, "In the first photo, the dang blower quit blowing when I was ready to shot the pic. It was taken in Bear Valley on the way into Whittier. The 10808 Boxcar is buried in the Princess Track. Numbers 2002 & 2005 are buried at the Barge Slip Track. And here's your buddy Rick Singsass on the SnowFleet."

Hopefully Robert doesn't mind, but I used Photoshop to improve the contract and brightness of each photo.
