This is Matanuska Junction at the south end of the wye in 1942.
The right branch goes to Palmer and then to Jonesville and Eska.
The left branch takes you to Wasilla and on north. The water
tank is heated by a stove in the building below. The stove pipe goes
right up through the center of the tank.
