Caught in the sweet light of sunset the 1500 and 1503 are northbound arriving at the Anchorage depot with a passenger special that showcased the new Tour Alaska ex-MILW full dome cars that would be placed in service the following year. This picture was taken in 1984. The following year would mark not just the first season for private dome cars on the ARR, but also the final season for the F-7's. You would never know it looking at the 1500 and 1503 shining brightly in the "bold Alaska" paint.
