On the evening of August 8, 2019 I had the pleasure of chasing the Glacier Discovery train, powered by ARR 3012, from Girdwood, to Anchorage. I had the pleasure of riding the train, with the same crew a few days later.
Both the chase and the ride were super fun experiences that I'm looking forward to repeating. Travelling north (west) from Girdwood, the train was also photographed at Brookman, Bird, Indian, Beluga Point and finally at Potter.
