This image was taken in May 1983 of the Aurora, lead by the 1530 southbound. It is about to pass underneath the Healy Spur Road. This were from my first pictures taken at this commonly photographed location. It looks to have been a warm day, as the door to the lead unit is open, providing some ventilation to the occupants of the cab.
