"Although at this point it is just a few minutes after noon the sun has just barely cleared the saddle in the mountains and has reached its zenith in the sky and will begin its descent towards darkness.

Not much sun in the great white north in the winter but fortunate to have some on this day. Clear skies and cold temps, about minus 29 when I took this shot in Healy."
