Graffiti rock

Monday, 12 June 2023: On a look back at the warmer summer days Alaska Railroad Corporation Fairbanks Yard Job is heading Railroad South on the ARRC's Eielson Branch, passing Graffiti Rock at MP G21.24. Here they are at the end of a roughly two and a quarter mile long tangent that brings the railroad through the Unincorporated Community of Moose Creek. After passing Graffiti Rock the railroad starts their decent through an "S" curve and under the Richardson Highway coming out over the Chena Flood Plains. GP38-2's 2004 and 2005 are frequent visitors to the North End and are powering the train of about 15 empties back South.
