Large rock between tunnels #2 & #3: This is a large rock that fell off of the cliff face between Tunnels 2 & 3 at Tunnel Section in 1977. Note the position of the left rail in the top photo and its position in the lower photo. When the rail was cut with a torch, it sprang up almost instantly and underscores the need for precaution when working around rail that is under pressure. |
