The photo of the brushcutter was taken on the north end of Girdwood Siding in May of 1980. This brushcutter had notoriously poor brakes and while coming down the hill between Grandview and Hunter one time, I was out on the deck looking for places to jump as it continued to pick up speed with full brakes applied!! Thankfully, it started to slow down before I actually jumped. |
