This tender was assigned as a water car and fuel bunker for MOW service. It is a former USRA tender from the S-160 550 class consolidations. Notice the paint date of 1974 on the side of the tender to verify when it was in service. A coupler without spring draft gear was installed where the original drawbar buffer was located on the front of the frame.
