SD70MAC number 4318 on the lead of a northbound gravel train on 9/9/04 at MP129.

On January 4, 2005 number 4318 was northbound with 48 empty tank cars. At around 11:00 a.m. number 4318 was detached in order to clear the track of snow near milepost 248 (Curry). As the locomotive moved to reattach the tank cars the trailing truck derailed. It was a slow speed derailment and their were no injuries or spills.
