Dead on shot of the big Susitna River bridge. This was the views out of the front of the old Budd Cans used on the Hurricane Turn. It's unfortunate that folks who ride the Hurricane Turn missed out on views like this. I would stand in the front the whole time, pretty sure I bugged the engineer once or twice. This was September 2008 by looking at other photos associated with this, so this could be on the last Hurricane Turn of 2008 and last run of the Budd Cans. There was a retirement party for a conductor, Buddy, and it was a crazy train too.
