"Here is a view of the yards in Whittier before the Buchner Building was erected, I believe it dates from 1946 or earlier. Just the engine house, Jordan spreader and steam engine working on down the yard. Nothing in this picture still exhists in Whittier. It has all been relocated or built over." -- Pat Durand
