Taken in summer 1975, at Anchorage, shows 5 of the 6 new GP40-2's acquired in spring 1975. Six old F7's were used as trade ins on these units. Note that the nearest unit #3005, carries 3002 in its indicator boards, probably from its prior assignment in Extra 3002. Unit #3006 was actually built and delivered as # 3000. The ARR changed the number to #3006 upon arrival in May 1975. The units proved successful and additional GP40-2's were received in the summer of 1976.
