This car was made by Fairbanks-Morse/Sheffield in Beloit, Wisconsin. They called this the "Type 22" railcar. It was powered by a 25 h.p. Sheffield gas engine, and had a mechanical transmission. Purchased by the Alaska Northern, (number unknown). 15'6" long, weight 2.5 tons. It went to the AEC, but how long it lasted, I don't know. -- Don Marenzi
