With groups of soldiers from an army railroad unit assigned to duty along 500 miles of track on the Alaska Railroad, a Mobile Post exchange moves up and down along the railroad bringing a mountain of supplies to Uncle Sam's "Mohmets." The exchange, a motor truck mounted on rails and drawing a trailer with a counter for retail business, visits each unit about once every two weeks.
