This is a postcard photo of the Kiwanis Moose Gooser from the 1948 Fur Rendezvous.  The track was laid down 5th avenue from G street to L street.  
The two cars were fabricated from speeder frames.  Contrary to the caption on the photo card this was not Alaska Railroad's "first train".
