Sid says of his photo, "Only F-unit I ever saw riding on Alco trucks. It looks pretty cool and probably pulled better. Unfortunately I don't think any of the As got this treatment. One of my big thrills was taking the mixed to Whittier back when they put the cars on the train.  I did it a couple of times.  One of the great things about Alaska is all the great stories of how everybody came to be there and there’s no place for telling them like on the train."
