EMD GP7u was built in 1951 (builder#15695) for the U.S. Army, #1825.
The Alaska Railroad acquired it in 1976 and numbered it 1825 (later #1802).
It was rebuilt by ICG 1978. The Alaska Railroad sold it for scrap in 2001.
