Caboose 1082

This caboose was built in May 1949.  As far as current information goes, Pat Durand states, "She is currently among many other cabeese spotted along both sides of Caboose Ridge overlooking Chilloquin Oregon and Upper Klamath lake on the West side of Hwy. 79.    Sometime after leaving the ARR she was involved in a fire that gutted the unit to the sheet metal and the floor framing.   That's OK because the plan at Train Mountain is to convert these into cabins for railfans and Members of the Museum there. Mr. Quinten Breen, CEO of the Train Mountain Museum asked for help in providing paint diagrams, photos and any history available on this unit."
