While getting fuel at the local gas station one day, a semi and long low boy pulled up near the pumps to check the load. Well the load was an old boxcar! Troop sleeper/boxcar 10333 was sold to a private owner. I met one of the new owners and from what I was told they were moving out to their property to be used as a storage unit. Three sides were repainted to a red color, while one side stayed original, not sure why but notice that the door was open during the painting? I'm glad to see another old warrior is off to a new life. How often do you see a WWII vintage rail car at a gas station? Location, Sunshine Tesoro Mile 99 Parks Highway. 04/06/2016.
