A 550 class from the compressor on the front deck. I think it has the wider cab, about half of them were modified by the ARR this way, including 556, but I don’t think it’s 556. The tender looks like a standard 550 class tender, but a different tender was fitted to 556 after the rollover in 1950 so I think 556 is ruled out. It’s after about 1950 because of the Harriman number boards. The bells moved around some and were be on top, at the top, front of the smoke box, or ¾ of the way up on the left side of the smoke box (original location for U.S. spec S-160s). 556, 560, 561, and 562 had bells in the front. Is there a second locomotive at the rear or is that a patch of snow? - DM
