I had a ride in dome car #508 Matanuska on the Saratoga and North Creek Railroad in New York State last week and in working on a report of the trip, I found David Beagle's History of the Westours Railcars on your site.  In an update, he noted that the car was sold to Iowa Pacific in 2009. The car's interior is in beautiful shape although only some of the dome windows have been replaced so far, so the view is a bit clouded through the old ones.  The layout of the car is the same as reported by David Beagle, but it must have been completely re-upholstered. The car still carries the McKinley Explorer paint scheme and mountain design, although not the name. 7/6/13.
