These are 100 ton 89’ general service flat cars allowing for the loading of four (4) 20 foot containers and combinations of 20, 28, 40, 45, 48 and 53 foot containers. Numbers 18601-18607 arrived on the barge 10/7/20 while numbers 18608-18617 will arrive around 10/21. Click here and here for the engineering drawing.

From Alaska Railroad Public Affairs 2/15/23, "I’ve attached a diagram of the 186’s (flat cars purchased in 2019), there is a total of 56 cars in our fleet. We took ownership of these cars in late 2019 to mid-2020 from Ebenezer Railcar Services."
