Comments: Lived in Anchorage 20 years, late 60s till late 80s transferred to Augusta Georgia, then went deer hunting in south Carolina and dang if she didn't catch me. I modeled the AKRR and had a layout in my basement at 2501 turnagan pkwy in anchorage, till I moved south, I modeled the F7s and the GPs plus the Cabooses. Still have them but no desire anymore to run them. When my daughter was young she knew the types of engines and learned her numbers with the engine numbers, yes we watched the engines. Thanks for a neet site it gave me great rememberances. I should get out the boxes of AKRR and check them out again... Thanks again John

Comments: Wonderful site. It's been 50 years since I have run any model trains. Got my interest back thanks to you.
